Research Paper Assignment for CS305

Your assignment is to investigate one of the topics that you wrote a weekly log for in depth. You should do some further research and present some evaluation of the topic. Don't just report. Your paper must contain your own words, may contain some short quotes where appropriate, and should cite any relevant sources.

The paper should be 750-1500 words, formatted in (.doc, .docx, or .pdf); PDF preferably. Submit on D2L. It should follow roughly, the following outline:

• Introductory paragraph
  • Describes the topic and issue to be discussed
• Background, description, and history of the issue
  • Coule be part of the intro paragraph or could be in its own paragraph as appropriate
• Body
  • Some number of paragraphs that discuss the issue, different points of view, your analysis, evaluation, and/or opinion, and reasoning that supports your analysis, evalation, and/or opinion.
• Summary
• List of references/citations
